Invigilo co-founder and CEO Vishnu Saran was a guest on the first episode of Intrigued to Innovate, the podcast of the Innovation and Design Programme at the NUS College of Design and Engineering. The episode was released on 28 May 2025 and is available on Apple Podcasts.

Hosted by Dr Jovan Tan, the episode paired Saran with Dr Elliot Law, Programme Director of the Innovation and Design Programme, and final-year student Harini Ravichandran, for a conversation on building real products as an undergraduate. Saran, an alumnus of the programme, spoke about what carried Invigilo from student project to operating company: people management, and genuine intrinsic drive rather than chasing whatever is fashionable.

What this means for customers

The habits described in the episode, building for a real user and iterating on site, are the same ones customers see in how Invigilo runs a proof of concept today: start from the risks that matter on your site, prove detection on your own cameras, then scale what works.
