Misk Global Forum is the annual flagship event of Saudi Arabia's Misk Foundation. The 2023 edition brought young leaders, founders and policymakers to Diriyah, and the AI panel debated a question most workplaces were starting to face in earnest: whether artificial intelligence directs the work or serves the people doing it.
The venue mattered for Invigilo. Saudi Arabia is one of the company's key markets, and a Riyadh stage discussing AI at work sits close to the problems its platform handles daily on high-risk sites: detecting unsafe acts and conditions from existing cameras and putting that information in front of the safety team in time to act.
What this means for customers
Buyers in the Gulf prefer partners who are present in the region rather than flying in for demos. A panel seat at Misk Global Forum, and coverage in the Kingdom's main English-language daily, reflects a company that operates in Saudi Arabia and treats it as a home market.
