Forbes named Vishnu Saran, co-founder and CEO of Invigilo Technologies Pte Ltd, to its 30 Under 30 Asia list for the class of 2023, in the Industry, Manufacturing & Energy category. The list was published on 17 May 2023 and his profile is on forbes.com.

The Forbes profile is short and specific. "Saran set up Invigilo Technologies in 2020 to make construction sites safer," it reads, noting that the company uses AI video analytics for real-time monitoring and intelligence that improves workplace safety.

The category matters. Vishnu Saran was listed under Industry, Manufacturing & Energy, not Technology: recognition tied to the industries the platform serves rather than the software business around it. Forbes publishes the 30 Under 30 Asia list annually, recognising founders and leaders under the age of 30 across the Asia-Pacific region.

What this means for customers

For customers, the useful part of a founder award is what it says about staying power. The company Forbes profiled in 2023 as a construction safety startup now runs across construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, mining and logistics, with deployments at close to 200 active sites.
