Invigilo co-founder and CEO Vishnu Saran joined CNA938 on 27 May 2024 for an interview on how AI can support workplace safety in Singapore. The conversation also ran as an episode of Daily Cuts, CNA's daily podcast.

The interview focused on prevention: what AI video analytics can and cannot see on a worksite, how alerts reach supervisors in time to matter, and where human judgement stays in charge of every safety decision.

Invigilo's platform runs on a site's existing CCTV and detects 40+ risk types, from missing PPE to vehicle and pedestrian proximity, sending real-time alerts so site teams can step in before an incident develops.

What this means for customers

A national broadcaster asking sober questions about AI and safety is good for the whole industry. The answers given on air match what Invigilo tells customers in the first meeting: the technology assists safety teams, it does not replace them.
